Supervisor Michael Grace has been endorsed by the Affiliated Police Associations (APA) of Westchester in his bid for re-election this November. The APA consists of 58 Police Benevolent Associations serving Westchester County.
“I am very honored and proud that the Affiliated Police Associations have come out in favor of my candidacy,” Grace said. “Over the past two years, I have worked well with both the Yorktown Police Department and the PBA of Yorktown.”
Grace touted his record of establishing emergency protocols since he entered office in 2012, which includes the creation of the Citizens Emergency Response Team (CERT). He said the endorsement is noteworthy because his opponent, Nick Bianco, is a retired Yonkers police officer.
